I'm originally from Middleton, WI a smallish city in the south-central part of Wisconsin. Middleton is basically a western suburb of Madison and it is a pretty nice place to live. In the mid 90s, I moved to Minneapolis, MN to go to school at the University of Minnesota. I graduated from the U of M with a B.S. in Computer Science.

In 2007 I moved back to the Minneapolis area to begin work on a M.S. in Software Engineering at the U of M. In addition to graduate school, I'm also working in the software engineering group at a Minneapolis based company called Logic Product Development.

Before moving back to the Twin Cities, I worked for a Madison, WI based medical device manufacturer called TomoTherapy. TomoTherapy makes a CT guided IMRT system which is used for cancer treatment. I mainly worked on the graphical front end application that helps the physicians plan and monitor treatments. I think it's very cool.

In my free time enjoy a variety of outdoor sports include cycling, running, hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. I also play trumpet, guitar and tinker with other instruments.
